Video: Baku v. Dacia Chişinău

Someday there will be clashes between mighty giants of football to decide the UEFA Cup, but for now, it’s July, and that means that it is the time for the smaller teams to shine, or to go home early. This past weekend, in the second leg of the Intertoto Cup’s first round, Dacia Chişinău of Moldova beat FK Baku of Azerbaijan on penalties, and due to the bountiful glory that is YouTube, that match can now be watched by more than just the couple of thousand people that went to the Stadionul Republican to see it. In case you’re not fluent in Romanian (for shame!), Dacia is in the yellow and Baku is in the blue.

You’ve got to love local announcing. “Daciaaaaaa!”
